The invention discloses a method applied to airtight and waterproof treatment of a gas tunnel. The method comprises the following steps: (1) fully paving waterproof plates on a primary support and protection surface and paving closed-hole type foam plastic cushions on the waterproof plates; (2) positioning middle embedded water stop belts in longitudinal construction joints; (3) positioning middle embedded water stop belts in annular construction joints; (4) secondarily lining, embedding the middle embedded water stop belts, placing water-swelling water stop strips in the longitudinal construction joints and embedding externally-pasted rubber water stop belts in the annular construction joints; (5) embedding joint-embedding materials into the construction joints; (6) eliminating danger, spraying water and falling dust; (7) detecting the airtight property of the tunnel after the tunnel is constructed, thus ending the whole construction process. The method can be used for overcoming the difficulty of the airtight and waterproof treatment caused when digging a high-concentration gas tunnel in the past, can also be used for overcoming the difficulty of hardly positioning the middle embedded water stop belts in the different construction joints, and is high in pertinence, simple and practical, high in operability, good in effect, high in construction quality and high in waterproof performance and airtight performance; the high construction speed is ensured.
