Treating 162 Cases of Knee Osteoarthritis by Needle-knife Lysis Based on Position Differentiation and Points Fixed

2015
Objective: To observe clinical effects of needle-knife lysis in the treatment for knee osteoarthritis based on position differentiation and points fixed. Methods: All 324 patients were randomized into the needle-knife group and the acupuncture group, 162 cases each group. The needle-knife group adopted needle-knife lysis based on position differentiation and points fixed; the acupuncture group related points needling. Clinical effects were assessed after one course of the treatment. Results: Cure rate and total effective rate of needle-knife group were62.96% and 87.65% respectively; while these rates of the acupuncture group were 48.76% and 85.80%. The comparison between both groups, the needle-knife group was superior to the acupuncture group in cure rate(P0.05),total effective rates were equivalent(P0.05). Lysholm scales and AS scales were improved notably after treating between both groups(P0.05), the improvements of the needle-knife group was more obvious(P0.05). Conclusion:Clinical efficacy of needle-knife lysis based on position differentiation and points fixed is superior to acupuncture therapy in treating knee osteoarthritis.
