Phenotypic, genotypic, cytochemical, and ultrastructural characterization of acute undifferentiated leukemia

We have characterized the genotypic and ultrastructural features of subtype of acute leukemia in which blasts expressed immaturity markers and lacked lineage associated antigens. In contrast to previously reported «unclassifiable» cases, the leukemias were phenotypically homogeneous and showed a good response to chemotherapy
