Nuclear Reaction by Polarized Protons and Deuterons at Low Energy

1976
Polarization and vector analyzing power (VAP) were studied in the proton and deuteron interaction with atomic nuclei to determine quantum characteristics of nuclei and the nuclear reaction mechanism. In measurements we used polarized proton and deuteron beams accelerated by the tandem generator. Beam intensity was ~ 150 pA and monochromacy was better than 0.1%. The experimental data 1–3) were analyzed by the formulae given in ref. 4)
