The invention belongs to the technical field of the design and research of ships and relates to an auxiliary floating body, particularly to an auxiliary floating body increasing the wind wave resistance of a detection ship. The whole auxiliary floating body adopts a streamline structure; the outline of the auxiliary floating body is formed by nine elliptic curves which are arranged at equal intervals in an end-to-end sequence and adopt continuous and smooth transition. The auxiliary floating body adopts a single-layered housing frameless structure and full foam filling, satisfies the comprehensive requirements for structural strength and resistance to sinking in a way of enhancing the resistance to sinking. Only the parts at external structural connection points, which have requirements for local strength, are reinforced by proper structural frames.
