Thermohaline Structure of Water Above the Microbial Mats Site at Sevastopol Marine Area

The paper studies the vertical profiles of the aquatic environment main parameters in the water column above the microbial community in the Sevastopol marine area. The profiles of temperature, salinity, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen were obtained directly above the microbial mats area. Presumably, the formation of abundant microbial mats and atypical profiles of salinity, turbidity and oxygen in the study area are caused by the same natural or anthropogenic factors.
