THE ESSENTIAL OIL OF FERULA FLABELLILOBA RECH. F. ET AELL.

Abstract Water-distilled essential oil from aerial parts of Ferula flabelliloba Rech. F. et Aell., was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Twenty compounds constituting 80% of the total components detected were identified. Among them, α-pinene (10%), δ-cadinene (13.2%), α-cadinol (12%) and cadina-4,l(10)-dien-8β-ol (10.9%) were found to be the major components in the oil.
