Clinical Evaluation for Spondylolysis and Spondylolisthesis An Analysis of 14 Operative Cases

1985
It is interesting that intermittent claudication was observed in three patients as one of subjective symptoms. Spinal canal was narrowed in these two patients, but in the other, the canal was normal in width. This suggests that intermittent claudication may occur in the patients with normal canal width. In myelogram, changes of dural sac (hourglass appearance, posterior indentation) were characteristic in spondylolisthesis. Many of changes of nerve root sleeve were asymptomatic.
