The Factors Influencing of Husband Role's in Household Works (Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Peran Suami dalam Pekerjaan Rumah Tangga)

The purpose of this study was to identify husband's role and time allocation on household works and to examine factors influencing husband's roles in households works. The data were collected from 600 families in East Java and North Sulawesi. Data were analyzed by Pearson Correlation and analysis of variance. The results of the study showed that there were some provinces directly involved in child care such as playing with children and reading stories. Husbands in North Sulawesi were more involved in household tasks than husbands in East Java.
