A resonating group quark‐cluster model for two‐nucleon system

2008
A recently proposed theory of nuclear chromodynamics is presented and discussed for the case of two‐nucleon systems. Using resonating group methods, we derive a set of dynamical equations which yield S‐matrix description and lead to Feshbach‐Lomon f‐matrix or Jaffe‐Low P‐matrix theories as special cases. Off‐shell ambiguity of the P‐matrix approach is discussed. As an application of our theory, we present a new method of determining the probability of the interior quark compound state in deuteron using the experimental information for dibaryon resonances.
