Usefulness of endogenous and exogenous nitric oxide to identify degrees of endothelial dysfunction in patients with stable angina pectoris

Abstract These observations show that in a given patient with stable angina, the coronary artery is capable of a broad spectrum of responses to acetylcholine and nitroglycerin. These findings refute the notion that the endothelial functional response is a generalized “all-or-nothing” phenomenon.
