The principles of the newly developed diagnosis functions, based on the conductivity balance in the primary cooling system, are described. Their applicability to diagnosis of primary components, prediction of short term water chemistry change and evaluation of macroscopic corrosion monitoring in the reactor has been verified using actual plant data
