Kinetics of radical polymerization of acrylic esters of lupinine

1995
The kinetics of radical polymerization of acrylic derivatives of lupinine was studied at high reaction conversions. The corresponding kinetic parameters were determined as a function of reaction conversion. It was found that almost all kinetic parameters of the process (v i , v pol , τ, [R]) were controlled by the conversion in polymerization ; as a result, molecular masses and molecular mass distributions of the resultant polymers also varied with conversion. A computer program that makes it possible to control the process and prepare polymers with specified molecular mass and relatively narrow molecular mass distributions was developed.
