Cross‐Metathesis Reaction: Direct Synthesis of Functionalized Allylsilanes

Cross-metathesis between α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds and allylsilanes with Hoveyda's catalyst leads to functionalized allylsilanes in moderate to good yields and with excellent E/Z stereoselectivity in favor of the E-isomer.
