Web Browser Analysis for Detecting User Activities

The Linux and its distribution are being widely used in the industry and other organizations. It has become essential to perform the log file analysis of the web browser to identify the user activities on the Internet. The log file analysis helps in identifying the malicious insider within an organization. After considering the existing work, this paper suggests an evidence collection and analysis methodology for the Linux web browser forensics. A framework for detecting the suspicious user activities on the Internet is proposed.
