Quadrature Mach Zehnder Interferometers for LIDAR Remote Sensing of Winds and Aerosols in the Planetary Boundary Layer Through the Lower Stratosphere

We present different quadrature Mach Zehnder interferometer configurations used in Optical Autocovariance Wind Lidar (OAWL) systems to measure winds and aerosol properties through the full troposphere using lidar returns backscattered from atmospheric aerosols and molecules.
