The embodiment of the invention discloses a terminal cell search method and relevant equipment and system. A terminal comprises a first network unit and a second network unit, and the terminal cell search method comprises the following steps: the first network unit ensures that a circuit switched (CS) domain resides in a first network and enforces the CS domain service; the second network unit ensures that a packet switched (PS) domain resides in a second network and enforces the PS domain service; the first network unit receives a system message from a cell of the first network; whether the system message carries the neighbouring cell message of the cell for the second network is determined; the second network unit searches the cell of the second network after that the system message carries the neighbouring cell message of the cell for the second network is determined. The scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention is favorable for improving the user experience and reducing the search time of the terminal cell.
