Design of Intelligent System in Agriculture using Data Mining

In Indian scenario Agriculture is the most noteworthy application area where farmers and stakeholders are required to formulate incalculable choices on regular basis. Environmental circumstances, inconsistency in soil, contribution levels, combinations and product prices are all significant for stakeholders to exercise information and acquire knowledge to construct vital decision in farming. A crucial subject for farming preparation intent is the estimation of correct production yield for the several crops concerned in the scheduling. Information technology utilization in agricultural sector will modify the state of affairs of choice and stakeholders can yield in a superior mode. Data mining has a pivotal role for accomplishing the realistic and efficient solutions for this problem and several issues associated to agriculture field. This paper is primarily concerned with the investigation of the agricultural data and ruling most favorable constraints to enhance the production of crops under varied condition using data mining techniques. We also offer some of the commonly used procedures of data mining in agricultural field. Results obtained via classification using J48 tree classifier outperforms the performance of Naive Bayes classifier and achieved classification 72.7%.
