Node localization in wireless sensor network is important for many applications and to locate the position with Received Signal Strength Indicator requires a number of anchor nodes. A Genetic Algorithm for wireless sensor network localization with level-based reliability scheme is proposed in this paper to solve the issue that the positioning accuracy is low with less anchor nodes. The node with high reliability is selected by level-based reliability scheme and Genetic Algorithm is used to estimate the position of the unknown nodes. The simulation results show that the algorithm can estimate the position of the unknown nodes with less anchor nodes and improve the positioning accuracy efficiently.
