Adjunctive considerations for laser resurfacing

Laser resurfacing procedures can achieve excellent results. The actual laser procedure is relatively easy to master. However, care of the patient including safety factors, selection and preparation, and postoperative care may be more complicated. These factors are summarized in this review. Proper attention to these adjunctive considerations will achieve safe and excellent results.
