Expression of Telomerase Activity in Endometrial Carcinoma
2000
Objective: To discuss the action of telomerase activation in development of endometrial carcinoma and to learn the activity of telomerase. Methods: The telomerase activities of 57 cases of endometrial carcinoma and 11 normal sample were detected with TRAP. Results: The positive rates of activity expression were 74% in stage I, 85% in stage II, 86% in stage III and 9% in normal. The positive rate of endometrial carcinoma was significant higher than normal uterus tissue. Conclusion: Telomerase activity might be a useful label for endometrial carcinoma diagnosis.
