Analisis Pengaruh Variasi Temporal Karbon Dioksida Dan Metana Terhadap Temperatur Di Indonesia Menggunakan Metode Korelasi Pearson

2011
Carbondioxide (CO2) and Methane (CH4) are some of green house gases considered to be responsible for global warming on earth’s surface. This is because green house effect of these gases to absorb longwave or infra red radiation emitted by earth surface and thus causing temperature to increase. This study was carried out to determine contribution of CO2 and CH4 to surface temperature. CO2 and CH4 data used in this study were obtained from SCIAMACHY-ENVISAT satellite data processing results from periode 2003-2005 downloaded from TEMIS website. Temperature data were collected from AQUA-AIRS data processing results at the same periode downloaded from giovanni-NASA website. Region of interest was Indonesia (6 N; 92.5E; -11S; 141E). Pearson correlation methode was used to analyse relationship between CO2 and CH4 with temperature particularly in Indonesia’s region. Trend analysis of monthly average showed increase in surface temperature and CO2 mixing ratio values of 4.18E-4 0 C/month and 0,001 ppm/month, respectively. On the contrary, there was decrease in trend of CH4 mixing ratio value of 1E-5 ppm/month. Statistical analysis by applying Pearson correlation method showed that the influence of CO2 to temperature was more dominant than CH4 in Indonesia’s region.
