Construcción y validación del inventario para una escuela activa y saludable (IEASA)

The intention of this study was to construct and to validate an instrument to evaluate the perception of parents and mothers with regard to the school center as element mobilizing or promoting physical-sports activity. The sample was composed by 301 subjects of the city of Granada, 142 parents (47,1 %) and 159 mothers (52,99 %). Of 37 initial items that the inventory was containing, they were excluded across the analysis to correlate 8 of them for not expiring with the criteria of validity and reliability. The final questionnaire remained shaped by 29 items and 6 factors. The full scale Cronbach alpha was 0.876, with an explanation of the variance of 57.5%. Factor 1: implications of teachers in promoting healthy habits (10 items, ? = 0,899), factor 2: Centre as an element of promotion of physical activity (4 items, ? = 0,851), factor 3: the school as a creator of health (3 items, ? = 0,817), factor 4: reorientation of the subject physical education towards a greater health promotion (6 items, ? = 0,782), factor 5: implications of parents in promoting physical-sports activity (4 items, ? = 0,676) and factor 6: sensitivity and support technicians and education policymakers of the autonomous communities (2 items, ? = 0,681). They found significant relations between the implication of the professorship in the promotion of healthy habits and the center as element of promotion. Also among the implication of the above mentioned professorship and the implication of parents and mothers in the promotion of physical -sports activity. Finally, between the school as creator of the health and the reorientation of the subject of Physical Education towards a major promotion of the same one
