Technik und Einsatz der Gas‐Chromatographie auf dem Gebiet der Fette für die Seifenindustrie

Einleitend gibt der Verfasser einen kurzen Uberblick uber die Entwicklung der Gas-Chromatographie. Dann wird der prinzipielle Aufbau eines Gas-Chromatographen beschrieben unter Bezugnahme auf die verschiedenen Detektoren. Im folgenden Teil werden Veresterungsverfahren fur Fettsauren bzw. Umesterungen von Fetten fur die gas-chromatographische Aufnahme behandelt. Die Einstellung eines Gas-Chromatographen sowie die Auswertungsmoglichkeiten der Chromatogramme sind Gegenstand der weiteren Ausfuhrungen. Abschliesend werden die Moglichkeiten der Gas-Chromatographie auf dem Gebiet der Untersuchung von Fetten fur die Seifen-Industrie aufgezeigt. Technique and Application of Gas Chromatography in the Field of Fats for the Soap Industry A short introductory review on the development of gas chromatography is followed by an explanation of the principles involved in the construction of a gas chromatograph with reference to the various detectors. The procedures for the esterification of fatty acids and interesterification of fats for gas chromatographic analysis are dealt with. The adjustment of a gas chromatograph as well as the modes for the evaluation of chromatograms constitute the subsequent discussions. Finally, the possibilities for the use of gas chromatography in the investigation of fats for the soap industry are shown.
