Directly Comparing the Current from Two Electron Pumps

We have directly compared the current from two dissimilar quantized charge pumps each pumping one electron per cycle at 825 MHz. The currents are equal to within roughly 1 part in 106, although a long time constant of unknown origin prevents stronger conclusions to be drawn from the data. This is the first report of a direct universality test of electron pumps.
