FAST NEUTRON CAPTURE IN $sup 232$Th

The capture cross section of Th/sup 232/ was determined for monoenergetic neutrons in the energy range 0.19-1.1 Mev. The shape of the curve agrees closely with the theoretical curve predicted by Lane and Lynn, showing a definite rise in cross section with increasing energy near 0.8 Mev. (auth)
