Treatment of 52 cases of ankle fracture by manual reduction and splintage

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of manual reduction and splintage in the treatment of ankle fracture.Methods Fifty-two subjects were treated by manual reduction and splintage.The fracture-healing time and ankle function were evaluated.Results The average fracture-healing time was(39.58±3.36) days,with the healing rate within six months of 100%;AOFAS score was(84.23±12.77) points,with the excellent rate of 82.69%.Conclusion Manual reduction and splintage is quite effective for ankle fracture.
