Real-time traffic light control system based on wireless sensing network

2011
The utility model relates to a real-time traffic light control system based on a wireless sensing network. The real-time traffic light control system includes a master control station and a plurality of wireless sensing nodes. The master control station is a control center, and the wireless sensing nodes are divided into three categories. The master control station and the wireless sensing nodes adopt a USB communication mode. The master control station is connected with two wireless sensing nodes via a USB port. One of the two wireless sensing nodes is a central sink node which is responsible for transmitting the gathered wireless data to a PC master control station, and the other wireless sensing node is a central control node which is responsible for transmitting the PC terminal control information to a control node. The real-time traffic light control system based on the wireless sensing network can dynamically adjust the traffic light duration according to the traffic flow, thus relieving the jam condition of a crossroad.
