Overview of IoT Privacy and Security Challenges for Smart Carpooling System

Our day-to-day life is becoming more convenient with the concept of IoT by converting every physical object into a smart object that can sense the atmosphere, communicate with the remaining smart objects, and perform properly to changes in the nearby atmosphere. IoT is an advance technology that changes the world and changing the mode of our life. Now, Carpooling sector applies the IoT concept for digital transformation in transport industries. In IoT, whole thing is connected and share the data through Internet. This Internet must be arising some issues such as security and privacy. This paper overview the Internet of Things privacy and security problems related to Carpooling system. It is important in IoT to ensure the users privacy as well as security. There are many technique have been proposed to achieve this aspect of IoT. This study discusses the security issues of IoT concept for direction and profile approaches in Carpool system. This paper will help researchers to design secure IoT system for Carpooling system and make intelligent transportation system. It recognizes the most important privacy and security issues of the adoption of advanced Carpooling systems and the proposed solutions for such issues. In this paper the aim is to find out and analyze the IoT application for the Carpooling system.
