Preliminary study on Notodontidae species and Fauna in Changbai Mountain.

Preliminary investigation on Notodontidae in Changbai Mountain,Jilin province showed that there are 62 species belonging to 6 subfamilies and 32 genera,among which 6 species are new records there.Fauna composition of Notodontidae is dominated by Oriental-Palaearctic common species in Changbai Mountain.Most species distribute in Korean pine-broadleaved forest belt,accounting for 50 % and there are 6 dominant species.In July,there have the most Notodontidae species and quantity.Notodontidae species distribute gradually less with raise of altitude and geographic distribution changed from Oriental-Palaearctic common species to Palaearctic species.
