Root Canal Treatment in Mandibular Canines with Two Roots: A Case Report
2012
For a successful endodontic treatment thorough understanding of root canal and root anatomy is required. An endodontist should always look for variation in normal anatomy of roots and root canals. The majority of human mandibular canine has one root and one canal. Laurichesse et al. described the second root of mandibular canines in only 1% of cases. Despite the low prevalence, variations may occur in the number of roots and root canals of mandibular canines, as demonstrated in this case report.
