Introduces the function of the Geographic Information System(GIS),the principle and feature of the Cellular Automata(CA),presents the integration of GIS and CA,to form a new dynamic GIS of time dimension.It keeps the original function of GIS,and too, it has the function to define and operate CA model.So,it is able to analyse landscape ecology change, facilitate for landscape management and decision.
