Borun ratlarda embriyo morfolojisi üzerine etkisi

2016
Boron is present as a constituent of several different compounds in nature. Be - sides its industrial use, boron is an essential element and plays a very important role in the metabolism and physiology of plants. In this study, we aimed to deter- mine the effects of boron on in vivo embryo development. Rats were divided into 5 experimental groups containing 3 animals in each group. Experimental groups are as follows; positive control (fed with normal feed), negative control (fed with feed containing no boron), low boron group (fed with feed containing 0.04 µg boron/ml), marginal boron group (fed with feed containing 0.3 µg boron/ml) and normal boron group (fed with feed containing 2 µg boron/ml). Animals were fed for 14 days and embryos were collected after 10-13 days during embryo develop- ment. Embryo development was investigated morphologically. According to the results, morphological development parameters of embryos were decreased in the boron deficient group compared to boron groups. In conclusion boron has an important role for embryonic development in rats. The effect of boron on embryo morphology in rats
