EVALUACIÓN DEL DESEMPEÑO AMBIENTAL DEL SECTOR MANUFACTURERO DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE RISARALDA

The development and implementation of models and / or methodologies for assessing the environmental sector through analysis of environmental performance indicators (demand generation resources and pollutants), helps to visualize, study and understanding of the interactions and impacts of different anthropogenic processes (in this case the manufacturing sector of Risaralda) with the biosphere, local, regional and national levels, facilitating the prioritization and formulation of policies and / or strategies to optimize the use and consumption of natural resources based on availability. This study aims to assess the environmental performance of the manufacturing sector of Risaralda and identify industrial activities with the greatest environmental impact, with the information stored in the pilot Unique Environmental Registry (RUA) for Risaralda in the period from 2004 to 2008 .
