Stomach Cancer among the Japanese

Epidemiological observations have provided to date most of the information bearing on the etiology of stomach cancer. The lack of a suitable animal in whom carcinomas of the glandular stomach could be readily induced by oral administration of known carcinogens has impeded development of a well-rounded experimental program.
