Methods for Diagnostics of the Status of Equipment for Signalling Systems

In this paper, the need of diagnostics and maintenance of the components in signalling systems is outlined. Some methods for diagnosing the equipment without having to unmount it are proposed. Periodic measurement of equipment parameters reduces the risk of failures in components and the system as a whole.
