Kinetic investigation of the thermal decomposition of polyethers and liquid rubbers

Abstract The kinetics of thermal decomposition of a number of low molecular polyethers and saturated and unsaturated liquid rubbers were investigated by simple and derivative thermogravimetry and by differential scanning calorimetry, using an ETsVM computer for the kinetic analysis. A kinetic description of the thermal decomposition of these polymers was obtained. The radical chain schemes formulated for the thermal decomposition of the polymers examined agree with the kinetic descriptions found by experiment.
