A charging method for the realization of automatic power control

The invention provides a charging method for realizing automatic power control, which comprises the following steps of: setting an initial value of a charging current; detecting an output voltage of a mobilephone charger and a voltage of a mobilephone battery, and acquiring a current charging current of the mobilephone according to the rated power of the mobilephone charger; comparing the current charging current with the initial value of the charging current; and regulating the value of the current charging current of the mobilephone according to the comparison result, and setting the current charging current of the mobilephone into a maximum charging current allowably set by the rated power of the mobilephone charger. According to the mode and the charging method for realizing the automatic power control, the value of the current charging current of the mobilephone is regulated according to the comparison result between the current charging current and the initial value of the charging current to further automatically regulate the charging current of the mobilephone battery, so that the mobilephone can be compatible with mobilephone chargers with different output powers for charging, and overhigh output voltage during charging of the mobilephone is avoided.
