Produção orgânica de abacaxi utilizando biofertilizantes aeróbicos

2020
The objective of this study was to compare the agronomic and productive aspects of pineapple grown in organic and conventional systems. Pineapple production systems require the adoption of alternative and more sustainable practices that promote socioeconomic improvements and greater profitability. A randomized block design with four replications and five treatments was used. The treatments (T) were: T1 – biofertilizer applications every 7 days; T2 – biofertilizer applications every 14 days; T3 – biofertilizer applications every 21 days; T4 – biofertilizer applications every 28 days;  and T5 – chemical fertilization. In each application, 100 mL of biofertilizer per plant was added. The length and mass of the pineapple stem increased linearly with the application of the biofertilizer. However, the amount of soluble solids presented negative correlation with the applications of biofertilizers. In general, the vegetative and productive aspects of pineapple produced in both organic and conventional systems were similar. Thus, it is possible to recommend the use of aerobic biofertilizers as an alternative for organic production of Perola pineapple.
