2017
The purpose of the present titling work is to create a manual of structural intervention for the Tilipulo hacienda monastery, which has load-bearing walls made of adobe and which had seismic effects on its structure. Having as indications and references the affectation that has these structural elements. Knowing the particularity of its artifices and the structural faults that the monastery has, two intervention proposals for its conservation will be proposed. From these two proposals a comparative matrix will be made between each of them Starting with an architectural survey, followed by a survey of factories to know the types of materials that comprise these structural support elements. These factory surveys will be carried out in foundations, masonry and roofing, after which the pathology of the elements will be surveyed through an examination of organoleptic analysis. The importance of the type of research as a main tool for gathering information and knowledge is emphasized. And so a series of analysis is made regarding the choice of materials and techniques to be used in the intervention. Once the present title document is completed, it can also be used in buildings, houses, monasteries and churches, where they have similar characteristics to the monastery HACIENDA DE TILIPULO. Referring to characteristics similar to the pathology of the walls and to the structural affectations that possess the good to be analyzed. Once the results of the analyzes have been obtained, for the intervention process, the concept of the minimal intervention is always managed and the wrong concept is not managed in this type of interventions. “Old buildings remain as new, new building remains as old”.
