Hydromechanical and physiological mechanical-to-electrical power converter with PVDF film

1987
The efficiency of power converters with PVDF film depends on film strain, piezoelectric coupling coefficient, wave height and stress time function. The limiting cases of great primary power (hydromechanical converter) and low primary power (physiological converter) are discussed. Applications for the power supply of buoys and initial physiological experiments are described.
