Study on properties of rubber-basalt fiber modified concrete based on orthogonal test method

2021
The application of waste rubber particles and basalt fiber in modified concrete can not only significantly improve the performance of concrete, but also reduce the environmental pressure. The influence of the length and diameter of basalt fiber and the particle size of rubber on the compressive strength, bending strength and slump of the modified concrete were studied through orthogonal test. The results indicate that, in terms of these three factors the main factor affecting the slump and bending strength of basalt fiber is the length of basalt fiber. Slump and bending strength of the concrete decrease first and then increase with the increase of the length of basalt fiber. The size of rubber particle and the length of basalt fiber are important factors affecting the compressive strength. The strength decreases first and then increases with the increase of rubber particle size, and the length of basalt fiber is inversely proportional to the compressive strength.
