The Base Station Cooperation Scheme Based on Dynamic Transmit Antenna for Massive MIMO Systems

To reduce the hardware complexity mainly caused by radio frequency (RF) chains, transmit antenna selection has been a hot topic in the downlink of massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. This paper will discuss the base station (BS) cooperation scheme based on dynamic transmit antenna. Compared with the fixed-rate coded cooperation scheme, the rate-less codes aided cooperation is adopted at the BSs to reduce the complexity. Moreover, the error performances of the proposed BS cooperation scheme based on dynamic transmit antenna under different modulations are analyzed. And the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is also verified through simulation results in this paper.
