Production of copper-plated laminate

PURPOSE: An epoxysilane coupling agent and vinylsilane coupling agent are added to a thermosetting resin composition for laminate containing 1,2-polybutadiene to improve the adhesion to copper foil and glass cloth. CONSTITUTION: For example, to a varnish obtained by dissolving a thermosetting resin composition for laminate, which contains 1,2-polybutadiene, in a solvent are added 0.5W2.0 parts, per 100pts.wt. of the resin, of epoxysilane coupling and vinylsilane coupling agent respectively. The base material is impregnated with the resulting composition, dried by removing the solvent to give prepregs, which are laminated with copper foil to produce laminated products.
