VARIOUS METHODS OF WELDING THICK-WALLED PLATES FOR ATOMIC REACTOR CONSTRUCTION

ABS>Discussion is given on manual welding, submerged arc welding, and electroslag welding of thick 20 MnMo 55 steel plates of given mechanical properties. Micro- and macrostructure investigations and mechanical testing of the weldments were performed. (P.C.H.)
