Níveis de anelamento, AIB e proteção do substrato na clonagem de Cnidoscolus quercifolius por alporquia Levels of annealing, AIB and protection of the substrate in cloning Cnidoscolus quercifolius by layering

2014
Cnidoscolus quercifolius Pohl. (Faveleira) is a pioneer species of great importance for the Caatinga and the semiarid region due to its immense adaptation, drought resistance and its multiple uses. The human actions, in particular the exploitation of the native species of the Caatinga have gradually contributed to reduced genetic variability of the species of this biome. An outlet to contain the spread of this devastation could preserve native species through the deployment of areas with species of interest. For this production of seedlings is needed, and an alternative to this production are cloning techniques. Among the techniques of cloning, layering is known for being simple and easy to apply technique. This work aims to evaluate the best level of incision in the industry (annealing) to promote rooting faveleira as well as to evaluate the influence of the synthetic auxin Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) and foil to promote the rooting of this species. The full annealing proved to be the most suitable for faveleira. The use of aluminum foil was not efficient to promote the rooting of air layers and AIB with complete annealing favored the increase in the number of roots.
