Brighter prospects for graduates

2004
Anyone who has studied physics knows the advantages it brings. Apart from gaining an insight into the fundamental workings of the universe, physicists are highly numerate problem-solvers with sharp analytical minds. Not surprisingly, they are highly sought after in today's job market. But with the number of pupils taking science in schools still in decline, there is a danger of a severe shortage of highly qualified graduates not only in physics but also in other scientific subjects.
