Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting uplink service data. The method comprises: a wireless local area network (WLAN) access point (AP) receives first indication information sent by a cellular network access device, the first indication information being used for indicating that a user equipment (UE) served by the WLAN AP cellular network access device has uplink service data to be subjected to service distribution at the WLAN AP; and the WLAN AP sends second indication information to the UE according to the first indication information, the second indication information being used for instructing the UE to send the uplink service data to the WLAN AP.
