Coagulopathy during ascites reinfusion: Prevention by antiplatelet therapy

Abstract The development of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) during a controlled IV infusion of concentrated ascitic fluid was studied in a group of patients with cirrhosis and refractory ascites.
