Fundamental Mass-Transfer Principles in a Gas—Liquid System in a Sound Field

1973
The investigation of ultrasonic waves as they affect the liberation of gas from a liquid is one segment of the general problem of the acceleration of mass transfer in a sound field. It is convenient, therefore, to examine certain postulates of the general theory of mass transfer in order to exhibit the possible ways in which ultrasonic vibrations can exert their influence.
